NUNDAH BICYCLE RACING CIRCUIT |
In the 2003 Council budget, $400,000 was allocated to construct a new bicycle multi-use facility at Nundah. The asphalt circuit will primarily be used for criterium racing. It will also be suitable to triathlete training and rollerblading.Council officers are currently working with cycle racing groups to design and build the circuit. It will be located adjacent to the new Kedron Brook Bike Path at Nundah (near Hedley Avenue).Below is a very early draft plan. The final circuit will probably be similar to the ‘blue’ line. |
