BENNELONG PARK

Bennelong Park is located at Bennelong St Kedron.

The park has two parts; an established park with recreational facilities and a more natural bushland area adjoining Shaw Estate.

In 1995 the area of bushland and open land fronting Bennelong Street was rejuvenated with a joint Commonwealth and Brisbane City Council $100,000 grant that enabled bush regeneration outcomes as well as linking the existing bike track to proposed educational bush walks and barbecue shelters.

A hard working community group (Bennelong Park Community Group) works in conjunction with the Brisbane City Council to ensure this park is well maintained.
