NUDGEE LIVABILITY PLAN

Current budget submissions for Nudgee made on behalf of Northgate Ward Residents:-

(Please note that these are only submissions - funding is subject to the Council budget processes).

* Complete the fencing of the Nudgee Off-Leash area, Nudgee Road Nudgee.

* Traffic calming for Hayden St Nudgee.

* Install a tennis wall, cricket pitch, childrens bike track, an electric barbeque, and park shelter at St Conel St park, Nudgee.

* Installation of a rubbish bin at the Nudgee off-leash area.

* Construction of a steel metal fence on the western side of Nudgee Road between the Gateway Arterial and the waste transfer station (to stop vehicles and cars from entering the natural area.

* New public toilet and extra park seating for the Nudgee off-leash area.

* Completion of the concrete footpath on St Vincents Rd between Boonal St and Queens Road, Nudgee.

* New concrete footpath for Childs Road Nudgee.

* Install traffic management to slow down vehicles at the Nudgee Railway Station set-down area in St Achs Street.

* Raise the viewing mound at the St Vincents Road Park, Nudgee.

* Lighting of the bikeway between Nudgee and Nudgee beach.

* Funding for a bikeway to link St Vincents Rd to the Kedron Brook Bikeway adjacent to Childs Rd Nudgee.

* Install electric barbeques and bins in St Vincents Road Park, Nudgee.

* Widen Childs Road between St Vincents Road and Nudgee Road and install on-road bicycle awareness zones.
