Current budget submissions for Wavell Heights made on behalf of Northgate Ward Residents:-

* Traffic calming for Bayview Tce. * Traffic management for Ferguson Street – Our Lady of the Angels School. * Bikeway lighting along the bikeway adjacent to Keith Bowden Wetlands. * Upgrade the Bristol Park cricket practice wicket to ‘Astro Turf’. * Construction of a pedestrian/bike overpass at Shaw Rd, adjacent to the Valley Hockey Fields. * Installation of seating, a new rubbish bin and an electric barbeque at the Murray Duus Park Skatebowl. * Sealing of the kerbside car-park at off-leash area in Murray Duus Park * Traffic calming for Imbros St. * Rejuvenation of the Keith Bowden Wetlands area. * Installation of new play equipment in the park on Main Ave. * Installation of dog poo bins along the Shaw Park walkways. * Installation of a public toilet in 7th Brigade Park (new Newman Road), Chermside. * Resurfacing of Ennor St. * Installation of traffic management in Sunny Ave. * Installation of traffic management in Vale St. * New concrete footpath for Frankit St. * Installation of traffic management in Stadcor St. * Cleaning out Downfall Creek Wavell Heights between Newman road and Sandgate Road. * Resurfacing of Cressey St. * Funding of a Personalised Public Transport (PPT) Service for the Chermside, Kedron and Wavell Heights area. * Traffic management for Huet St. * Inclusion of the Our Lady of the Angels School, Warraba Ave Wavell Heights in Council’s SafeST program. * Traffic management for Bayview Tce. * Construction of a new bus set-down area for Wavell High School on Edinburgh Castle Road. * Signalised intersection for corner of Spence Road and Hamilton Road. * Signalised intersection for corner of Spence Road and Rode Road. * Traffic management for Imbros St. * Expansion of the Murray Duus Park Skate Bowl (Wavell Heights) to allow more users and extra skating area. * Installation of traffic signalisation at the intersection of Main Ave and Newman Road. * Undertake a study of the need for traffic management devices to be installed in Highcrest Ave. * Install traffic management devices in Watcombe St. * Install traffic management devices in White St. * Install traffic management devices in Highlands St. * Install traffic management in Highcrest Ave. * Install traffic management in Main Ave. * Undertake a study of traffic on Spence Rd Wavell Heights, with a view to reducing the number and speed of vehicles. * Install traffic management in Belloy and Duelin St. * Install a traffic splitter island at the intersection of Thornton Pde and Barker Sts. * New concrete footpath for Luke St. * Establish a new off-leash dog area adjacent to Downfall Creek near Glenside St.
